We are seeking a Discipleship Specialist – Young Adults to foster vibrant communities where young people encounter Christ through meaningful relationships, engaging formation, and transformative experiences.

About the opportunity
The Discipleship Specialist – Young Adults plays a key role in the Proclaim Team, supporting Catholic communities across Melbourne to foster a culture of missionary discipleship among young adults.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support parishes and communities in reaching and discipling young adults
- Identify and equip local missionary leaders in young adult ministry
- Empower and accompany CAM leadership in discipling young adults
- Develop resources, training, and initiatives that enable young adult discipleship in various parish and community settings
- Create an engaging environment where young adults encounter Christ and grow as missionary disciples
About You:
- You have, or are working toward a tertiary qualification in theology, religious education, ministry or a related field
- You have demonstrated experience in youth and/or young adult ministry
- You have a strong personal faith and a heart for mission
- You have an understanding of discipleship models in a Catholic context
