Join a cheerful and inspired team as a Fundraising Communications Specialist to craft compelling appeals, video scripts and impact stories across Catholic ministries in South East Queensland. You’ll write print and digital content that connects hearts to mission—raising funds for bursaries, seminarian formation, social services, grants and more.

This is a newly created role with a key focus to further a culture of youth discipleship in the Diocese in alignment with the Bishop’s vision and pastoral priorities. A key priority of this new role is to provide leadership support in parish youth discipleship, fostering growth in the Gospel, drawing young people into participation in the life and mission of parishes, and empowering them to live as disciples in the world.

Lead and support the Diocese in collating and producing communications to parishioners and key stakeholders. Engage with the Catholic community both online through the Diocesan website and social media platforms as well as offline.

The Proclaim team is at the service of parish communities within the Archdiocese, offering strategies, resources and support for the pastoral needs of parishes and local faith communities; and focusing on the proclamation of the Gospel, faith formation and Christian living delivered with missionary energy.

Lead and support the Diocese in promoting a culture of safety for children and vulnerable persons. Ensure the implementation of safeguarding policies and practices in line with the National Catholic Safeguarding Standards (NCSS) and other relevant Church and legislative requirements.
