Launched in the midst of the COVID pandemic, Canberra-Goulburn Archdiocese’s online Rosary has just celebrated its fourth anniversary – and it’s still going strong. Source: Catholic Voice.
The Rosary Online takes place on Zoom every Wednesday and Friday at 4pm (AEDT/AEST), and nightly at 8.30pm, drawing a loyal community of the faithful not only from the Canberra-Goulburn Archdiocese, but also from interstate and as far afield as Germany, Ireland, Japan, and Italy.
Across both afternoon and evening sessions, nearly two dozen participants gather to pray, coordinated by Kelly, a parishioner from Our Lady of Perpetual Help in Canberra’s northwest.
The afternoon group has offered a resounding endorsement of the online Rosary. One member of the evening group described it as “a hot cup of chocolate before you go to bed.”
“People ask us all the time to pray for them,” Kelly said. “We have a very long list that we pray for. Many, many prayers are answered. After four years, we’re still here.”
