Caritas Australia’s Global Gift cards offer Australians a meaningful way to celebrate Christmas while embracing the true spirit of giving.

“Our Global Gifts are more than just cards,” said Nicole Chehine, advancement director at Caritas Australia.

“They are a powerful way to share compassion and hope with those who need it most.”

When purchasing a Global Gift, you can choose a cause closest to your heart or that of the recipient, whether that’s funding a child’s education or delivering emergency aid to families in Ukraine. In return, you will receive a card to give to a loved one, symbolising the life-changing impact of a donation made on their behalf.

Orders for printed cards should be placed by December 5 to ensure delivery by Christmas. E-cards can be purchased and sent electronically right up to Christmas.

Catholic Mission also has a range of printed and e-cards enabling you to give your loved ones a “Life-Giving Gift” this Christmas.

Catholic Mission says its Life-Giving Gifts represent a real and lasting change for children and communities in need around the world. From food to education, practical to spiritual, local to global, there is a gift for everyone.

Jesuit Mission Australia’s Gifts for Change program enables supporters to choose from a range of e-cards and postal cards that fund vital community projects across Asia and Africa. The purchase of the cards could fund a chicken farm for a family in Cambodia or provide clean water to a rural village in Timor-Leste.

“When you give a Gift for Tomorrow, you are giving families the chance to grow their own future,” Jesuit Mission Australia CEO Helen Forde said. “It is a simple, beautiful act of love that honours the meaning of Christmas and helps care for our friends and the planet.”
