The encyclical Magnifica Humanitas is devoted to one of the principal challenges of our time, artificial intelligence (Bigstock)

The English editorial team of Vatican Radio and Vatican News has prepared an audiobook of Pope Leo XIV’s encyclical, Magnifica Humanitas. Source: Vatican News.

The encyclical is divided into seven audio files – an introduction, five chapters and a conclusion. The audio file length range between 27 minutes and just over an hour.

Pope Leo’s first encyclical Letter, Magnifica Humanitas of His Holiness Pope Leo XIV on Safeguarding the Human Person in the Time of Artificial Intelligence” was released on May 25.

He signed the document on May 15, exactly 135 years after the promulgation of Rerum Novarum by Pope Leo XIII.

Following the example of his predecessor, Pope Leo wrote a social encyclical devoted to one of the principal challenges of our time, artificial intelligence.

The Vatican News audio version of the Magnifica Humanitas is narrated by Sr Bernadette Reis. Sr Bernadetter is a Daughter of St Paul, an order whose charism is evangelisation through the means of social communication. Sr Bernadette is also joined on the audiobook by the English team of Vatican News

The audiobook is available from the link below.
