The Divine Renovation Australasia conference has sold out and is set to welcome more than 400 clergy and lay Catholic leaders from Australia and New Zealand in February.
With the theme Called to More, the 2023 conference focuses on the renewal of parishes to heed Jesus’ call to evangelise and make disciples (cf. Matthew 28:19), and thus fulfill the Church’s missionary mandate.
Organised by Divine Renovation Ministry in partnership with the Catholic Archdiocese of Sydney, the conference will take place from February 10-12 at St Declan’s Parish and Marist Catholic College in the Sydney suburb of Penshurst.
It will bring together a diverse group of speakers, including Divine Renovation founder and best-selling author Fr James Mallon, to discuss and share from-the-trenches insights on parish renewal through keynotes and workshops. Attendees will also have the opportunity to be equipped with Divine Renovation’s three keys to parish renewal: relying on the power of the Holy Spirit, restoring evangelisation as a parish’s top-priority, and having the best of leadership principles to guide this work of renewal.
“We are humbled by the overwhelming response to this conference and can’t wait to bring together an amazing community of parish leaders on fire for the renewal of parishes,” Kevin Bailey, Executive Director of Divine Renovation Australasia, said.
“We know that the Holy Spirit will use this event to unleash a renewed sense of missionary zeal in parishes in Australia and New Zealand, and together with the Catholic Archdiocese of Sydney, we are very much looking forward to the fruit it will bear through parishes coming to new life and people coming to know Jesus.”
